It’s that time of the year again… pumpkin spice everything! This is the time of the year when we get back into our regular routine of school, sports, work, and youth groups!
If you want to grow in your faith, if you want to keep your faith as you grow up, if you want to learn all you can about the Catholic faith, then there is no better place for you than our youth groups!
Holy Family has two youth groups to offer: Unite for grades 7-9 and Verve for grades 6-8. This year, each night will begin a fun activity for the whole group, followed by a short talk and discussion. The talks will be based on topics that youth are interested about, and once a month, we will behaving a night outside of the parish.
There are so many new and exciting things happening at youth group this year! You don’t want to miss out!
As we get back into the routine of school, studying, test-taking, and homework can be stressful! Well, I can help with that! Or rather, I know people who can help with that! The Saints!
There are so many patron saints of students! St. Joseph of Cupertino is the patron saint of test-takers because he wasn’t a very good student, but he prayed and prayed that his entry exam would only have questions that he knew the answer to. When he went in for his exam, the teacher asked him one question, and it was on the topic that he knew about!
St. Joseph of Cupertino is a constant companion to may students, especially college and university students! Don’t forget to pray to him this school year!
St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Scholastica, St. Gemma Galgani, St. Aloysius Gonzaga, St. Ursula, St. Gregory the Great, St. John Baptist de la Salle, St. Albert the Great, St. Francis de Sales, St. Catherine of Alexandria, St. Isidore of Seville, St. Expeditus, St. John the Apostle, St John Berchmans, St. Drogo, and St. Veronica are also patron saints of students! Look them up, and pray to them this year!
